Kate “Ma” Barker was the mother of 4 boys who created the Barker gang. Her sons were charged with various robberies and even murder. There was a time when all of her children were imprisoned and she was left all alone and without any money.
Sources say that it was the moment when she noticed that she didn’t want to be alone, so she started living with a man named Arthur W. Dunlop. One of her sons was released in 1931 and took one of his friends from prison to commit crimes together.
