3. Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy
Now we go back in time by 2 centuries and a few decades, and we find ourselves in France. You sure know that many people say that women and jewelry can create a lot of controversies, and this is exactly what happened many years ago when a crook named Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy appeared in the lives of important figures.
Even though her claim to nobility is disputed, Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy is better known as Comtesse de la Motte because she was involved in the Affair of the Diamond Necklace, a scandal that helped start the French Revolution.
When she arrived at Versailles, she overheard a jeweler attempting to sell Queen Marie Antoinette a piece of diamond jewelry. She hatched a plot with a few helpers, stole the pricey jewelry, and helped in the fall of France’s monarchy.

I clicked on the link and all I got was Bonie Parker, who I already knew about. What happened to the others?
