6. The death of Mary Reeser
Another example of those photos that nobody can explain is that of the remains of Mary Reeser. Mary passed away in 1951. When police found her dead body in her house, where she lived alone, they were able to only recover one leg and a heap of ash. While this may sound like a horror story, it happened in real life.
What’s even stranger is that experts couldn’t explain what happened to the poor woman. Moreover, the rest of the house hadn’t burned down. The objects found near her remains weren’t as damaged as experts would have expected. According to them, Mary’s skull actually shrank! Many people claim the strange event is proof that spontaneous combustion exists.
