4. The Black Knight Satellite
Next on our list of chilling photos that nobody can explain, we have another NASA picture, this time from 1998. The photograph was taken during the first Space Shuttle mission that reached the International Space Station.
The picture seems to show some sort of vehicle. UFO-ologists link it with sightings from earlier decades, suggesting some kind of UFO satellite may be orbiting the Earth. According to this theory, the satellite is keeping tabs on humans.
On the other side, some experts believe the photo shows space junk floating through the skies. In other words, this is one of those weird photos that nobody can explain. NASA has once tried to debunk the assumptions people have made about the so-called Black Knight Satellite, explaining that it’s most likely a thermal blanket that detached from the Space Shuttle.
