8. The Enfield poltergeist
There are few things more terrifying and polarizing than claims of a haunting. And yes, apparently there are photographs of ghosts or spirits that allegedly make loud noises that move objects. These are definitely photos that nobody can explain!
There was even a famous spirit called the Enfield poltergeist, which haunted a house in Brimsdown, Einfield, between 1977 and 1979. The claims focus on two sisters, ages 11 and 13.
The photo above shows 11-year-old Janet supposedly levitating in the air. Her mother called the police and even the media to report the haunting. While this may sound like a hoax, a photographer from the Daily Mail insists that the woman is telling the truth.
A police officer who went to the house also backed the mother of the two girls. She also stated that she heard demonic voices, saw a chair move its position without anyone touching it, and witnessed thrown rocks.
