1. Bonnie and Clyde
The majority of people know who Bonnie and Clyde were. They were very popular for being a young couple that traveled the Central United States with their clan during hard times known as the Great Depression.
Bonnie and Clyde were popular for robbing banks, although experts say that small stores and rural funeral homes were their cup of tea. Given the fact that they weren’t exactly on their best behavior, the couple attracted the attention of the American press and were captured and shot to death in Bienville Parish, Louisiana in 1934.
As for the violent crimes they committed during the time they were at their peak, it’s believed that they murdered at least 4 civilians and 9 police officers. Many artists found Bonnie and Clyde‘s story to be interesting and fascinating, and there are plenty of them who released songs and directed movies about this couple!
…You should listen to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s song, Bonnie and Clyde, or watch the movie of the same name, directed by Arthur Penn in 1967.
