9. None of Hitler’s closest associates knew about his relationship with Eva Braun
Because he wanted to keep his intimate life as private as possible, he never intended to tell anybody about Eva. In fact, neither his associates nor people from the Nazi Party knew about this relationship.
Even after Braun moved into Hitler’s house in the Alps in 1936, the two effectively led separate lifestyles. She was completely alone in the Alps and then in Berlin, and she remained detached from Hitler’s political allies due to her full disregard for his political views. Among the very few people who were aware of Braun were Hitler’s housekeeper and driver.
