4. “What Are You Doing?”
Anyone who looked at Kennedy’s state knew he was either unsavable or already gone. Given his motionless body and massive head wound, it didn’t take a doctor or a nurse to understand that JFK was no longer with us. Still, this was the President of the United States, not to mention that his wife was right there at his side.
So the medical staff at Parkland was going to treat Kennedy as if there were chances to bring him back to life. While Dr. Charles Baxter was performing closed-chest compression (he was trying to restore some semblance of a regular heartbeat), neurosurgeon William Kemp Clark suddenly entered the trauma room.
According to Joe Goldstrich, Clark saw what Baxter was doing and reacted quickly, “My God, Charlie, what are you doing? His brains are all over the floor.” It was obvious that Clark hadn’t seen Kennedy’s wife before he blurted out those words.
“I was standing between them when he did see her”, Goldstrich recalls. “I saw her face when she heard what Dr. Clark had said. That’s another memory that will stay with me forever”.

While traveling on business I had to make a stop in Dallas and stay overnight. So our group went to the building (Book Depository) and check it out as well as the route the vehicle took and that cursed 90 degree turn the vehicle carrying the President had to take in front of the building. At the time of the visit I had been retired from the military after serving 24 years so I was and I am fairly well versed on weapons specially the bolt action ones ( They make good sniper rifles when used and maintained properly). They had the window were the shot supposably had been fired it was enclosed in plexiglass with boxes that were used as the sniper’s perch. Standing by the window next to the original window and looking down that avenue it became apparent to me that the sequence of the shots and were they impacted made sense. The slow speed of the motorcade and the gentle downslope of the street was perfect for the weapon used. He supposably fired 3 shots. the first one hit a metal sign close to the building, the second one hit the President around the throat area and the third hit him on the skull. The shooter did not have to change his original aim for the third shot just simply load and fire since the down grade of the street made the head shot possible. To me it did not seem difficult at all for a bolt action rifle even a piece a junk to be capable when handled well to have been used in that matter. At the time I actually saw it from that window I told my fellow workers traveling with me that a 2 year old could have made that shot. Think of the lives that would of been saved if Kennedy had lived and stop us from going full blown into Nam.
What is done is done if there is anything else about Kennedy ‘s death must be kept secretly with his family. At the time of Kennedy’s death I was only 13 years old and it made me shed tears cause Kennedy was a damn good President everyone Loved him very much.
I was very young when President Kennedy was assassinated, but I remember feeling the grief and anger of the adults around me.
Yeah great for cheating on jackie+having an affair with Marilyn Monroe! Lost key ally Turkey,in Middle East!

This site is probably one of the most miserable clickbait advertisement traps in the internet.
It really sucks— and if you’re smart— you’ll block it … as I am going to.
I think it was all a government plan. No way a man gets shot from behind and the wound is bigger on entrance than exit.
Back in 1960 Kennedy was in broomal, pa. at lawrence park shopping center on his campain when my dad and I were stopped in trafic because of his motorcade. I was only 8 at the time when dad said get in back of the pickup’s bed so I could see him pass by. It was a 2 lane road, sproul rd. well he went by and I sheepishly peeped out of the pickup’s bed and saw Mr. Kennedy and his wife wearing those pill box hats! I will never forget that day . He did have flaming red hair unlike some photos. Dad’s truck was an old ’51 Dodge pickup with those big fenders and running boards. Neat times back then!
I remember I was at my sister’s house and holding my baby while coming down the stairs. We were watching TV and saw it happen. We just sat there and cried. We were in shock as was the rest of the world. Every November 22 we would be together and pray. My other daughter (by marriage) was born that day and the joy we would have shared was completely overshadowed by this horrible event. My sister just passed away, but I still secretly go off by myself and pray. It will never be forgotten. Also seeing Walter Cronkite cry is something that remains in my mind.
I was in High School in class ( History I think ) when the news came over the P A system and the entire school was let out. Everybody was like ” WTF ” , I had never seen the school that still. That’s something I’ll never forget.
