3. Flight attendants used to retire at 32
Being retired at 32. We don’t know if this is good or bad, but we know for sure that fifty years ago people had this weird belief that flight attendants were supposed to retire this early.
Boeing employed the first stewardesses to serve passengers in the 1930s, and the fact that the female workforce was a source of inexpensive labor helped many more airlines to establish the trend for years to come.
Despite the long hours, poor pay, and limited time off, the profession of a stewardess was considered glamorous and thrilling. By the mid-1930s, airlines began to demand unmarried stewardesses. American became the first airline to demand stewardesses to retire at the age of 32 in 1953.
Airlines supported the age 32 limit, claiming the necessity to keep these ladies looking young and charming. However, union officials believed that everything was money driven and the airlines were just trying to increase their profits. These labor limits, as well as pregnancy and weight requirements, were abolished by the 1990s, thanks to the 1964 Civil Rights Act and decades of litigation.
The majority of airlines no longer have ridiculous standards, people are more receptive to knowledge and understanding, and becoming a flight attendant is a more enjoyable and less stressful job.

This was never a belief embrace by medicine.
This is an opinion. Sugar in excess is harmful, however used in moderation is beneficial. In a study of people using sugar alternatives vs sugar users. The alternative group gained more weight and were found to have mild neurological slowing. The brain has a glucose sensor which depresses appetite. The brain can only use glucose or ketones as fuel. I feel this is a fanatical view point. No one should overdue sugar intake but sugar is a necessary dietary item.
I am really surprised to read this. For all the time I can remember, sugar was known for causing diabetes. It was also known as bad for teeth.
I am wondering hoe Boeing is described as an Airline
Condoms and birth control pills are evil practices
Wife should stay at home and raise kids while serving as servants to their husband
Cellphone signal is enough to crash a plane down
the stigma on AIDS
Computers will crash in 2000
It should be up to the person if they want to put a stupid seatbelt on than they can if not than it is still there right to choose what they want to do.
OK If a woman has a baby and later decides she want to be a man( because of our Society: He/ She can do that!) It is still a woman who had the baby. If men in a marriage decide to adopt they qualify to be a family.
Glucose (sugar) is essential to control appetite. There is a glucose receptor in the brain that helps indicate satiation. Glucose is also essential since it is the primary fuel used by the brain. Amino acids, triglycerides do not fuel the brain. Too much glucose is not healthy but when taken in moderation or in complex carbohydrate forms they are brain and muscle fuel. Too little glucose leads to ketone formation which is more damaging to the body. Your supposition is wrong and dangerous. Artificial sweeteners do more harm than good.
Still think set belts are a government dictate idea and a show of power Yes they can help but have known many killed that WAS wearing them Just something else to make money from on a auto
slick Willy Clinton was the socialist, control freak that FORCED the seatbelt law down the throats of the “free & several” (sovereign) states. Threatening to BLACKMAIL and extort federal highway funds from those state that didn’t comply. Many in Amerika are still under the illusion that they are free. IF you don’t pay the taxes to your masters in gov’t., YOU will see how free you are(n’t). wise up ye sheeople, we only have 4 years to restore the republic. Are you tired of paying to be abused? your money wasted on others (mostly communist), and NOT your evil empire (former country)? RESIST them, they are sissies & perverts. Fear GOD, and not man (covid). grow a pair (see Peter West down below) (the Gestapo needs to be defunded) (the unGREATful SOCIETY too)
