1. The Alexandra Hospital massacre

One of the first reasons why we say that Imperial Japan was worse than the Nazis is primarily because of the gruesome things they did, which not many people know about.

While the history of America and Europe is taught worldwide in history classes, the one about Japan is only briefly mentioned. Why? We don’t know for sure, but one thing is for sure: In this article, we will try to emphasize more things that conclude how bad Imperial Japan was during WWII.

Singapore was seized by the Japanese in February 1942. Under the command of General Tomoyuki Yamashita, Japanese troops stormed the British-run Alexandra Hospital on the 14th of that month and began assaulting everyone they came in contact with, including patients, staff members, and security personnel.

Then they removed 100 random guys from the hospital, held them overnight in hot barns behind it, and started randomly killing them the next day.

Establishing the Alexandra Hospital massacre during the post-war prosecutions of Japanese leaders and troops for atrocities committed during the war was challenging.

Even though there was enough evidence that the slaughter occurred, it was hard to pin down the killers and bring them to court.
