What do you think about our country’s presidents?
I don’t know what your thoughts are, but when I think of our country’s leaders, I think of strong men who deeply love America and only want what’s best for it. I have a general idea that they’re willing to do anything it takes to keep it safe, happy, and flourishing.
Of course, everyone has their own ideas of how a president should behave, act, present themselves, dress, and even who they are supposed to date. Speaking of that, the majority of us think that these famous politicians are happy with their first ladies, but the truth be told, sometimes that’s only a facade for what’s really going on.
As you can already tell, love affairs aren’t a subject that only concerns regular people; they also concern celebrities and even political figures. At the end of the day, we’re all humans, and mistakes happen all the time, right?
You probably know about the cheating allegations that had Donald Trump as the main character (and if not, we’ll talk about it in a few seconds), but he’s not the only one. Without further ado, here are the most popular love affairs of the United States presidents!
1. Donald Trump
Some of the most scandalous claims ever made against a president are those made by special movie actress Stormy Daniels, a woman who claimed she had a love affair with the former head of state Donald Trump.
The actress, whose real name is actually Stephanie Gregory Clifford, said that she was involved in different intimate activities with the presenter in 2006 during a golf event attended by celebrities in Lake Tahoe.
If you thought that this was the only allegation against our former leader, wait to read the rest! More than a dozen women accused the president of misconduct before he took office.
Karen McDougal, a popular model in the world of special magazines, also had similar charges against Mr. Trump. However, when the politician heard what these women said about him, he denied everything and said that something like that had never happened.
However, we can never be sure of the truth. Only he and these females know for sure what has happened.
2. Grover Cleveland
Grover Cleveland was the only president to spend two non-consecutive terms in the Oval Office. When he was running for office for the first time, he found out some very bad things.
A popular newspaper in the 19th century called The Buffalo Evening Telegraph revealed that Cleveland fathered a kid with a lady named Maria Halpin ten years before he ran for president.
Moreover, the child was never with his real parents, as he was adopted by a family and his mother was sent to a mental institution. As you can imagine, when a well-known figure is said to be involved in sensitive matters, such as love affairs, things go crazy pretty quickly.
And this is exactly what happened with these 2 people. Maria Halpin said that their intimate episode was never consensual, and she was actually forced by the leader. During his campaign, the politician said that he didn’t cheat on his wife because his affair happened while he was still single.
Despite the accusations, Cleveland was elected president. Vice said that he sent Halpin to the institution after catching her having an affair with a married man.
3. John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy was one of the most famous leaders of the United States and the youngest man ever elected to be the head of our amazing country.
Besides being one of the most important people in the nation, another reason many citizens were curious about him was actually his love life. Even though he was married to a beautiful, elegant, and classy woman, Jackie Kennedy, whom the whole nation absolutely adored, he wasn’t able to be faithful to her.
He is believed to have cheated on his wife several times, and the most famous love affair was the one that involved iconic actress Marilyn Monroe.
Regardless of the fact that there’s no certain information that they really were involved in any romantic episodes, sources say that they saw each other and had a thing for one another.
The star’s famous “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” performance for JFK at a Madison Square Garden benefit in May 1962 sparked rumors of a romantic connection between them.
As far as the public is aware, the sole photograph of Kennedy and Monroe exists, and it was taken after the performance at a party at the house of movie mogul Arthur Krim.
Shortly after she sang to the head of state, the actress was found dead in her home. Doctors and experts said that she lost her life after taking a pill overdose, but the cause of her death is still a mystery for all of us.
4. Bill Clinton
Another man who was involved in a love scandal was Bill Clinton. Many women accused him of misbehavior, such as Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, Kathleen Willey, Elizabeth War Gracen, and Juanita Broaddrick. However, the story that received the most attention from the media and the public was the one that involved Monica Lewinsky.
Ms. Lewinskly was only a 24-year-old intern at the White House, and she had a secret relationship with the president between 1995 and 1997. A few months later, in 1998, the public found out about their affair, and the head of state received a lot of criticism for his behavior.
But in January 1998, the leader issued a statement saying that he had nothing to do with the White House intern and he negated all the allegations against him.
The woman attended and graduated from Lewis & Clark, and she began working at the White House Office of Legislative Affairs as an intern in 1995, during Clinton’s first term. She shared all the spicy details with Linda Tripp, one of her colleagues in the Defense Department, but little did she know that her friend had secretly taped their phone calls.
While researching the Paula Jones case in January 1998, Tripp uncovered the affidavit in which Lewinsky denied having an affair with the politician. She gave the recordings to Independent Counsel Ken Starr, who was also looking into the Whitewater incident, the dispute surrounding the FBI files in the White House, and the scandal surrounding the White House travel office.
Clinton denied having had intimate episodes with Lewinsky in a deposition given for the Jones case. Starr determined that the president’s sworn statement was dishonest and perjurious based on the evidence (a blue dress with Clinton’s DNA that Lewinsky gave).
5. George Washington
Love affairs have been the subject of many political figures, including the first head of state our country’s had: George Washington. He was said to have had an affair with a slave named Venus, a woman who worked on his family’s Virginia plantation.
The New York Times reported in 1999 that the slave’s descendants were trying to have a DNA test to confirm their kinship with leader Washington.
6. Warren Harding
It has been widely speculated that President Harding, the 29th to hold the office, fathered a child outside of his marriage. Some sources say that the leader had a romantic relationship with an American secretary named Nan Britton.
Even though Warren Harding did not see through his first term as head of state, a recent DNA test confirmed that he had a kid with Britton. Around the time of Harding’s death in 1923, speculation swirled that the former president’s wife, Florence, had poisoned him.
7. Dwight D. Eisenhower
According to different sources, Eisenhower had a long romance with his driver, Kay Summersby. During World War II, while the president was in charge of the Allied troops in northwest Europe as a member of the British Mechanized Transport Corps, she was the personal secretary for Dwight D. Eisenhower and also his chauffeur.
Even during those times, some people said that they got pretty close to one another during the war, but those who knew them well enough said that the rumors weren’t true.
However, a writer was informed by former president Harry Truman that in 1945, Eisenhower had requested a commander’s permission to divorce his wife and marry Summersby, but that didn’t happen.
…The woman decided to share her version of the story many years later, and you can find more about their love affair in this book.
8. Franklin D. Roosevelt
The last president on our list is Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd leader of America. He fell in love with Eleanor’s secretary, Lucy Mercer Rutherfurd, and they had a romantic relationship.
Some sources say that they began their affair in 1916, and she fulfilled his inner needs for acclaim, respect, approval, and relief from the dreadful obligations of his office.
After a while, his wife, Eleanor, discovered love letters from Mercer in Roosevelt’s baggage, and she threatened to divorce him. However, she didn’t do it, and they remained together until his death in 1945.
…Did you know about any of these leaders’ love affairs? Which one of them was the most surprising to you?

Jack Kennedy has many, many sexual encounters while married. He probably has satyriasis. Would not call any of his sexual relationships loving.
They were human.
The most surprising of all was the omission of Thomas Jefferson who fathered a child with a plantation slave. At the very least he is rumored to be the father of this child.
